Creativity abounds!

The Lego Creativity Competition is ongoing at Spring Arbor and it has been amazing to see the unique creations.   We have a giant snow plow ( for UP snow fall), warm and cozy home holiday scenes , hockey and ice skating rink, a ski rescue vehicle.  The competition continues this week and we can't wait to see what the creative kids of Jackson County bring to us.  Stop by.

Knitting for Difference is a group of knitters in the community  that have been knitting "Chemo hats" and " Caps for Kids". In 2007, 381 were distributed and in 2008, 144 have been distributed  so far.

Hats and caps have gone to Cancer Center-Jackson, MI, Cancer Center- Marshall, MI, St. Luke's Free Clinic, Catholic Charities Linen Closet, Interfaith Shelter, and C.S. Mott's Children's Hospital
