"We're not in Kansas, anymore..." Join us as we trasform the Carnegie Branch into the Wonderful World of Oz. We are decorating the building with scenes from the movie and creating a wonderful experience for the whole family. We'll have crafts to make, refreshments to eat, a scavenger hunt, a movie showing, a trivia contest and more. The movie will be showing in the Early Learning Room at 7:30 pm. For our part in receiving a grant from We the People the Concord Branch will be presenting an Underground Railroad Event in conjunction with Concord's historic home, the Paddock Hubbard House Civil War Event.
The library will share stories about the Underground Railroad, local Girl Scouts will help with a craft project and quilts will be on display.
