This event will be held at the First United Methodist Church, located directly across the street from the Canegie Branch August 2: Don Brininstool, 101st Airborn, parachuted into Normandy on D-Day and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. For our part in receiving a grant from We the People the Concord Branch will be presenting an Underground Railroad Event in conjunction with Concord's historic home, the Paddock Hubbard House Civil War Event. The library will share stories about the Underground Railroad, local Girl Scouts will help with a craft project and quilts will be on display.
