Thanks for your comments, J. Balch. I wondered about this one, too! This photo must date before "the mall" doesn't it? The fender trim on the blue Thunderbird would make it a 1962 model year (Standard Catalog of Ford, 4th Ed./John Gunnell). I'm guessing the year to be 1962 or '63.

Ella Merriman Sharp Home
Farm property purchased by Ella's maternal grandfather, Abraham Wing. Her parents Dwight and Mary Wing Merriman added on to the original 3 room house ca. 1845 in both 1858 and 1863. Ella Merriman and her husband John Sharp living in the home after their marriage. This photo was taken after Ella's death when the park superintendent lived in the home.

I believe this S Jackson St looking north at Wesley. Currently this is the court house and Mich Bell.

Railroad yard building
Looks to be the railroad building that burned down around the mid 70's. It was located on page ave south of the railroad tracks behind now the Blue Moon Resturant (the old junction resturant or papa ray's).
