Homeschooling families

I was just wondering if there are any other homeschooling families that participate on these boards?  My children that I will be homeschooling for sure are quite young (6 months and 2.5 years), but I would love to hear from other families in the area and start networking.  I also have an 8 year old son that I will be homeschooling as well if/when I get custody from his dad that currently has him in Cincinnati (he's in 3rd grade, but working at a 5th grade level so I don't know how long his school will be able to handle him, even if he is in a Montessori school).

Okay, I'm "officially" homeschooling the 2 year old now

Not that anything has really changed other than I'm being more mindful of what we are doing.  Oh, and I bought him some school supplies.  He's starting to learn to use scissors and glue now and is very excited about that. 

So if there are any other homeschoolers out there, especially of preschool aged children, it would be great to hear from you!

Way to go!

There actually is a large network of homeschoolers in the Jackson area. My family has been homeschooling here for almost fifteen years and have never had a problem finding other families.

For my part, homeschooling was the one of greatest things my parents did for me and I am eternally grateful for that. I plan on homeschooling my own children as well when that time comes.
