I just found a website that has many Free software "cheat sheets" or Quick Reference Guides available for anyone to use.

There are guides for Microsoft, Mac and Adobe programs and applications.

These Cheat sheets will help you find and locate the correct menu or tool to complete the proper action. 

They also have some free online instruction. 

I have done a little searching and found that there are some videos on YouTube that you may find useful for example this one for "Microsoft Word 2007 the Ribbon"
