All across the county, in every branch of the Jackson District Library, more and more people are getting excited about summer reading! The prizes, the fascinating books, the chance to air your views in one of our reviews--what's not to love?  If you haven't joined the library's adult summer reading program, it isn’t too late.  You can still get a chance at the first drawing this June, as well as the July drawing and the Grand Prize, a $300 gift card to Jackson Crossings!

Why should adults do a summer reading program, you ask?  Because it's fun, for one thing!  For another, it sets a great example to our kids and grandkids, encouraging them to pick out some great books, too.  Also, if there is one thing we all need to do, it is exercise--both our minds and our bodies.  Plus, it's free!  During this hot summer of tight budgets for driving your car or cooling your house, this is one thing you can do that cools you off, doesn't cost anything, and takes you to far-off locales in an instant! So run right down to your nearest JDL branch and start filling out those entries!
