Looking for a way to stay up to date on new books being published?
The Jackson District Library has a couple of ways to help.
ONLINE BOOK Clubs
When you subscribe you will receive, by e-mail, a five minute excerpt from a book each week-day. By the end of the week you will have received a couple of chapters. There are several different books clubs to choose from: Fiction, Nonfiction, Teen, Business, Romance, Good News, Science Fiction, Mystery, Horror, and Audio and Pre-Publication.
Jackson District Library has collected multiple copies of selected titles for use by book discussion groups. The books are available as “kits” and are packaged in a tote bag. A kit contains twelve copies of the same book, one Large Print copy, one audiobook, a notebook with information about the author, and sample discussion questions. If you have a valid Jackson District Library card and belong to a book discussion group, you are invited to check out our selection of Book Discussion Kits.
