Requests for Book Discussion Kit Titles

It is time to order 10 new titles to put in Book Discussion Kits for release this summer. A Book Discussion kit has 12 books and an information booklet for groups that would like to get together to read and discuss the same book.  These kits can be checked out by library cardholders.

If you are part of a current group or interested in being part of a group and have title suggestions, please post them here or email suggestions to reference@myjdl.com.

JDL Has a Video Game Collection!

We have video game titles for Wii, X-Box and Playstation 2.
 
The video games are housed at the Carnegie Library and are available for holds and requests. Check them out at $1.00 each for a week; but remember, there will be $1.00 per day fine for overdues. (Please refer to our Fines and Fees Schedule for other particulars.)

JDL has over 700 subscriptions to magazines and newspapers. Issues can be checked out for 2 weeks. However, the current issue cannot be checked out but may be read in the library.
