Digital television is coming in February 2009 – and your television may not be capable of receiving it.  The American Library Association and RadioShack are partnering in programs to help people understand the transition and the options available.

The Friends of the Jackson District Library Summit Branch, 104 Bird Ave., will have their annual Used Book Sale at the branch on Thursday, October 2nd from 10:00- 5:30 p.m., Friday, October 3rd from 10:00 - 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, October 4th from 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. 

Adult and children's books, books-on-tape, magazines, music and videos will be available for purchase.

All proceeds from the sale go to the Friends of the Summit Branch Library to aid collections, children's summer reading programs and more.
