Digital television is coming in February 2009 – and your television may not be capable of receiving it.  The American Library Association and RadioShack are partnering in programs to help people understand the transition and the options available. 

The Jackson District Library presents Recycling Jackson with Mary Tallman as Educator.  Ms. Tallman will teach Jackson County students on the importance of recycling, reusing and reducing resources.

The Concord Branch of the Jackson District Library will be offering beginning knitting and crochet classes every 2nd Monday of the month at 10:00 am at the Concord Branch, 108 South Main Street, Concord, Michigan.  Our first class will be November 10th, 2008.  For more information contact the Concord Branch at 517-524-6970.
